AirAsia and the Duke of York are looking for the best entrepreneurs in ASEAN

AirAsia, the strategic partner for Pitch@Palace ASEAN 1.0, is looking for the best technology Entrepreneurs in ASEAN.
Founded by HRH The Duke of York in 2014, Pitch@Palace serves as a platform to amplify and accelerate the work of Entrepreneurs.
Pitch@Palace ASEAN 1.0 is the first regional edition, inviting entrepreneurs with startups linked to the region to apply for the prestigious programme.
Selected Entrepreneurs will receive guidance and an opportunity to connect with supporters, including CEOs, influencers, investors, angels, mentors and business partners.
Participants can also look forward to mentoring, guidance and judging by AirAsia's key senior management, including AirAsia Group CEO and AirAsia X Co-Group CEO Tony Fernandes.
Fernandes said: “We are a big believer in the potential of ASEAN. With over 630 million people and forming the seventh largest economy worldwide, ASEAN is being earmarked as the next nexus for startups. We have already seen homegrown success stories including BandLab from Singapore, Grab from Malaysia and Go-Jek from Indonesia. As AirAsia continues to champion digitalisation, we hope Pitch@Palace ASEAN 1.0 themed ‘Innovation and Technology’ will find the next ASEAN tech unicorn and help catapult it into a global player.”
Pitch@Palace ASEAN 1.0 will take place at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, on 5 June 2018.
This year’s theme ‘Innovation and Technology’ welcomes applications across technology-related categories. Startups at all stages are encouraged to apply.
Pitch@Palace ASEAN aims to support entrepreneurs that have identified opportunities in the following areas:
Biotech and Medical Technology
Consumer Technology and Internet of Things
Data Management and Analytics
Energy, Environmental and Renewables Technologies
Health and Wellbeing Tech
Materials, Substances and By-products
Media, Communications and Entertainment Technology
Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality

20 Entrepreneurs will be selected from the applicants to attend Pitch@Palace ASEAN Boot Camp at Facebook’s office in Singapore on 4 June 2018. They will receive support and guidance on how to develop and hone their pitch, as well as support with investment, introductions and strategic guidance.
These entrepreneurs will also give a pitch to an influential audience from the worlds of entrepreneurship, technology, media and investment at Pitch@Palace ASEAN 1.0 held in Singapore on 5 June 2018.
The winners will be selected by audience vote, and will be invited to Pitch at Pitch@Palace Global, which will take place at St. James’s Palace in London, UK in December 2018.
All 20 entrepreneurs will join the growing Pitch@Palace Alumni network of Entrepreneurs and receive ongoing support.
